Moving & Handling Awareness Day

Thank you to our Supporters
Watch this space for details of National Moving and Handling Day 2026!
Moving & Handling Day 2025 was a great celebration of the incredible work being done across health and social care to promote safe, effective, and person-centred moving and handling practices.
Enhancing outcomes at every level - individual, team, organisation, and system - moving and handling is at the heart of quality care. It’s more than training compliance and preventing injuries; it’s about mobilising, reconditioning, promoting independence, and ensuring dignity and safety for all.
Schedule of the Day
The online schedule will take place between 10 am and 4.30 pm. Watch this space for the full details!
