I am a registered nurse and practised in the field for a several years. In this time, I worked in Elderly Care, General Medicine, Cardiology, Rheumatology, and Haematology before working on an Acute Medical Admissions unit. I was seconded into the role of Manual Handling Co-ordinator in 1997 and never left!

My role has always been within the acute sector, and I currently work for a large inner city Teaching Hospital. I have been a longstanding member of NBE and have also served on NBEs Yorkshire branch committee for several in years including as Chair and Vice Chair.

I am really pleased to be on the National Back Exchange board as an associate and look forward to meeting our members and working alongside the Membership Director to ensure that NBE is working for them going forwards. It will be great to meet you as part of this role.
