NBE Chair, Sarah Thornton, is delighted to be joining a webinar hosted by Health Integration Partners (the national development and scaling partner) to discuss the positive impact this will have on Wednesday 22nd April at 12.30pm. The webinar will offer insight into this national model that is likely to influence future moving and handling practice, service design and decision making across health and social care.
The HICM is a national framework to improve safe, proportionate moving & handling across hospital, community, domiciliary care, and care homes. It focuses on reducing unnecessary double-handed care and promotes independence, right-sized care, and assistive equipment.
