Join us for a day dedicated to promoting good Moving & Handling

Celebrate the incredible work being done across health and social care to promote safe, effective, and person-centred moving and handling practices.
Enhancing outcomes at every level - individual, team, organisation, and system - moving and handling is at the heart of quality care. It’s more than training compliance and preventing injuries; it’s about mobilising, reconditioning, promoting independence, and ensuring dignity and safety for all.
You don't have to be a member of NBE to get involved! Almost everyone uses moving and handling at some point and it can make a huge difference to make sure that it is carried out properly. Moving and Handling Awareness Day provides the ideal opportunity to find out more about the safest ways to carry out any moving and handling tasks.
It is also an opportunity for Moving and Handling professionals to share what they know with colleagues and their wider teams as well as find out more from others in the field.
Everyone will learn something useful!
Pop in to one or all sessions, join the quiz at lunch or simply pledge how you are taking forward the safer handling agenda locally. It will be fantastic to have you involved - together we are stronger.
