The session discusses how one county has worked together to produce a health and social care integrated approach to the guidelines, with integrated policies and risk assessment.

- List the high-risk factors associated with bed rail and bed lever use.
- Present to their own organisation, ideas on how to work to a single integrated ICES and health and social care policy.
- Have clear understanding of how to review bed rail/bed lever prescription.

Speaker Bio
Melanie is a Moving with Dignity Team Manager working with Norfolk County Council and Norfolk ICB. Melanie is also Column Digital Editor and has been a member of NBE for 24 years.
Melanie is a nurse by background with a particular interest in dementia care, optimising care and plus size care.
Melanie is a regular presenter at NBE and other associated conferences and has been an HOP series author and author of Dementia Care: A Behavioural Approach to Manual Handling.
