Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, skilled and ambitious Back Care Specialist. Your role will be to provide expert advice, training, support and guidance in manual handling. You will review our policies and practices and ensure that we are compliant with best practice and help us become an Outstanding organisation.

This is a newly created role to help us support our manual handling delivery and ensure that we provide a safer working environment for both our staff and patients. You will work alongside health and safety colleagues, estates, clinical and senior managers and directors.

Your role will be based within the Learning and Development Team, supported by the Nursing and Quality Directorate. We offer flexible working in a beautiful part of Bath. The neighbouring areas of Wiltshire and Somerset offer a beautiful mix of country and urban surroundings.

You will be a member of the National Back Exchange or equivalent.
