Cheryl Cunningham

I am a registered nurse for people with a learning disability, which led me to having the opportunity of working across a number of learning disability services including respite care, day services, schools and community nursing, I worked as a manual handling coordinator within learning disability services, which led me to my current role, where for the previous few years I have been working as a manual handling manager within the NHS across both acute and community services. This role requires me to work both operationally and strategically across the trust.

I am a member of the Lancashire and Greater Manchester back exchange group.

In 2012 I completed a post graduate diploma in backcare management at loughborough university and during 2016, I completed a post graduate certificate in occupational and vocational rehabilitation.

National Back Exchange offers professional publications and leaflets to both members and non-members.
