Job Title: Manual Handling and Back Care Advisor
Payscale: £30,598 - £33,291 p.a.

Job Outline: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing and Community Living Department to lead a comprehensive programme for the prevention of work related back and musculo-skeletal disorders through education, training and provision of specialist manual handling risk assessments and advice. Applicants must be willing to undergo child/vulnerable adult protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau.
Candidate Outline: You must be highly experienced in current manual handling practice and techniques, have knowledge of current health and safety legislation and excellent communication and problem solving skills. A registered qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Nursing, or a recognised specialist Risk/Manual Handling qualification is essential.
Contract: The post is full time.
