This is a new and very different job opportunity. Independent Living Solutions are a case management company based in Wiltshire but who have clients all over the country. We are looking to recruit Moving and Handling Advisors to cover the Bristol, Home Counties North and Birmingham areas. The work is client based, mostly with children, and involves risk assessment, training employed carers and assessing for equipment in the clients own home.
We are looking for an experienced Moving and Handling Advisor who has experience of working on their initiative as well as within a team. Paediatric knowledge is essential. You need to have a professional qualification, be a car driver and be prepared to travel up to two hours to visit clients.
Excellent communication, report writing and liaison skills are required. This role would suit someone who is innovative and who enjoys working with clients and their care teams in a community setting.
The post would suit a self employed moving and handling advisor or someone wanting to start some self employed working.
Good rates of pay, with travel time and mileage paid on top.
