Final Submission Dates
The final submission dates for each of the 3 issues of the Column every year are :-
- 1st February
- 1st June
- 1st October

Editorial Guidelines
Copyright for all published material is held by the National Back Exchange, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Authors, illustrators and photographers may use their own material elsewhere after publication without permission. Permission is required, and a reasonable fee charged for commercial use of articles by a third party. Please apply to the administration office for the National Back Exchange association. The publishers have endeavoured to trace the copyright holders of all illustrations in this publication. If we have unwittingly infringed copyright, we will be pleased, on being satisfied as to the owner’s title, to pay an appropriate fee as if we had been able to obtain prior permission.

Information for Submission of Material
Contributors are reminded that the editorial team reserve the right to edit the materials supplied and hold materials for publication at a later date. Submission of materials goes not guarantee publication, articles will be reviewed prior to publication and the author’s notified of changes or amendments.

Author / Contributor Details
We require the following details from you before publishing an article in the Column :-
- Name
- Contact Details
- Qualification

Copyright
If your material has graphics which are from copyrighted sources then source information must be provided and each graphic accordingly labelled. Copyright permission will need to be sought for any such material or it will not be published.

Content
Provide factual and verifiable details. If speakers are referred to then give their full titles. Local group submissions can refer to equipment, books, etc that have been reviewed but not the review outcomes (members can contact the group for information). Photographs and pictures to support the material are always very welcome.

Submission
The text for the submission should be either contained in the body of the email or attached to the email as a Microsoft Word document. All graphics must be submitted as a JPEG, GIF or PNG and should be the best resolution you have so they can be printed clearly in the Column.

Style
Please use Times New Roman, 12 Point, 1.5 spacing. Please avoid abbreviations (where they are necessary they must have been qualified in the article) and use the 24 hr clock and write dates without the suffix (e.g. 1 not 1st).

Other Details
All materials must be with the editor by the copy date or they cannot be included. If you wish to sent your submission on a disk, please contact us first before sending.
